ONE OFF HOUSES
House in Morfa Nefyn
My clients wanted a new house with a traditional feel to replace a dilapidated bungalow. Their main brief was to take advantage of the sea view, without the neighbouring garden being overlooked. My solution was to build a second storey property with a projecting single storey outrigger, which now allows stunning sea-views while maintaining the privacy of the neighbouring garden.
EXTENSIONS
Sea Front Pwllheli
This contemporary extension replaces an old, outdated conservatory and gives an all-year-round space with a strong connection to the outdoors.
CONSERVATION
Roof in Edern
This listed cottage on the Llyn Peninsular demonstrates an important example of an early slate roof with chevron slate valleys. I worked with a leading expert in stone roofs to understand, dismantle and rebuild this roof which had reached a perilous state of decay. Using traditional methods and materials the roof retains its beauty, character and historical interest.
